  Dr. Sheffer and staff are wonderful. They were able to schedule my wisdom teeth extraction one week in advance because I had a very short window of time to have the surgery and recover before the start of college classes. And when issues with my Insurance came up (on the end of the insurance company) the staff was incredibly patient and helped me resolve the issue with patience. Definitely would recommend Dr. Shaffer at Joplin Oral Surgery!

  I made a mistake on my appointment set it for the 5th of June instead of what I thought was the 5th of July, I was on vacation and didn't notice they called me as my phones voicemail isn't set up. I called to ask a question and make sure everything was set up for my July appointment and was treated like a lying waste of the nurses time she was very rude condacinding and gave response like she thought I was a POS. Me and my fiancé have always had decent trips to this dentist but the lady nurse named Jody makes me almost not want to return if Im paying to have my teeth in your care then your staff can act professional at the least. Update: After messing me over on appointments 2 tines I was forced to change my extraction and warned them that I problely couldn't so when I tried to call and confirm a different date I was told sense I missed my appointment twice which only was done becuasebof errors on there end I was informed that I wasn't welcome as a patient any more. They care more for money then people, you are garbage to them go somewhere else anywhere else!
